Ethics & Responsible AI

AI is powerful. Learn to use it fairly, protect privacy, tell truth from fakes and think about how your choices affect real people.

🔁 Remember: 📊 Evidence 🪤 Spot traps 👓 Other side Now add: 💛 care for people.

⚖️

4.1 Fair and unbiased

🎯 Goal: understand how unfairness can sneak into AI
  • AI learns from data made by people. If the data is unfair, answers can be unfair.
  • Bias can show up as stereotypes or leaving some people out.
  • Notice who is missing or described in a narrow way.
  • Ask Claude for fair, varied examples and speak up when something feels unfair.

✅ From the data and choices made by people.

2. What can you do?
A) Ask for fairer examples   B) Say nothing

4.2 Privacy and your data

🎯 Goal: protect personal information
  • Never share full name, address, phone, school, passwords or photos of people.
  • What you type may be stored by a service.
  • Use made-up details for practice.
  • Ask a grown-up to check privacy settings.

🔒 Share or keep private?

✅ Share
Your school topic, a made-up name
❌ Keep private

4.3 Truth and fakes

🎯 Goal: handle fake pictures, voices and videos
  • AI can make very realistic fake pictures, voices and videos (deepfakes).
  • Old clues like odd fingers are not reliable as fakes improve.
  • Check the source: who posted it, is it on trusted news, is there a second source?
  • Do not forward shocking content. Pause, check, tell a grown-up.

🎭 Check the source, not just the picture
